All items are securely packaged by our highly experienced team and posted to you using Royal Mail Special Delivery - this provides you with a minimum insurance of £750 and next day tracked delivery.

At Alnwick Auctions we offer an extremely efficient in-house and non-profit postage service. All packages are priced depending on weight and value. When buying in multiple auctions, we can combine postage to reduce excess packaging and costs; if this is something you are interested in, please let us know.

We can only hold items for two weeks, all invoices should be paid for in full before buying in the next auction.

We offer a minimum insurance of £750, and a maximum of £2500. If your parcel exceeds this value amount, we are happy to split items into multiple parcels covering the full value. Equally, if you buy secondary parcel insurance, we are happy to provide details and images as required.  

If we receive payment by 1pm, we will do our utmost to ensure your items are packed and posted to you the same day. Please ensure you use your Surname, Bidder number, and the sale date as shown on your invoice. All packages can be tracked on the Royal Mail website, simply request your tracking number by email. 

Extra packaging charges will be added to some breakable items / items that need more packing than usual. You can also request this by emailing us at [email protected] and quoting 'Extra Packaging'. 

Before requesting postage, please check that your lots are not prohibited by Royal Mail.
